The Harry Robidoux Award for Excellence in Emergency Management

This award is granted to an emergency management practitioner that exhibits all that is good and right in Emergency Management. Any KEMA member in good standing may make nominations for this award.

The Paul R. Beatty Partnership Award for Cooperation and Collaboration

This award acknowledges an individual, institution, or organization that strives to enhance cooperation and collaboration in fostering emergency management principles. This award will be presented to a person or organization that exhibits these characteristics.  Any KEMA member in good standing may make nominations for this award.

Glenn Cannon Visionary Award 

This award is given to an individual, institution, or organization whose trailblazing work has positively impacted emergency management within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Furthermore, their efforts have made a unique and distinctive contribution to the advancement of the field of Emergency Preparedness and Management. Any KEMA member in good standing may make nominations for this award.

Municipal Emergency Management Award for Excellence 

This award recognizes a municipal emergency management coordinator, deputy, or staff member who demonstrates exemplary performance as indicated by a level of excellence or achievement that is above and beyond what is considered the normal duties of the candidate.  Any KEMA member in good standing may make nominations for this award.

​​The Spirit of KEMA Award 

This award recognizes emergency management professionals who have worked to advance KEMA’s mission and forge partnerships that seek to advance the emergency management profession.  The Spirit of KEMA Award was established by the KEMA Board of Directors in 2011 to recognize KEMA members who have worked tirelessly to advance KEMA as an organization, advocate on KEMA’s behalf, and forge partnerships that seek to advance the Emergency Management profession.  Any KEMA member in good standing may make nominations for this award and the recipient(s) must be a KEMA member in good standing.
